About us
UNICA is a fragrance house in Tbilisi. We compose our own scents, blend them in small batches, and bottle them by hand. There are 20 of them. Each has a number, not a name.
Why numbers
A name tells you what to smell before you smell it. Call something "Midnight Garden" and you will hunt for the garden whether it is there or not. A number tells you nothing — which is the point. You stand at the shelf, you smell № 7, and whatever happens between the scent and you is yours. We are not interested in writing the story first.
The numbers also keep us honest with ourselves. They run in the order the compositions were finished. № 1 was first. Nothing gets renamed to chase a season.
Made once, not repeated
We work in small batches, and we do not re-issue formulas. When a batch is gone, the next one is made the same way — or not at all. Some scents will end. That is not scarcity theatre; it is what happens when a house is small enough that every batch is a decision, not a production quota.
One library, many forms
Every product we make — perfume in 10 and 60 ml, the 60+10 sets, room sprays, diffusers, candles, sachets, soap, bath bombs, body oil and scrub, gift sets — draws on the same library of 20 compositions. Pick a number and you can wear it, burn it, and wash with it, and nothing will argue with anything else.
Where to find us
The store is at 9 Merab Kostava St, 0108 Tbilisi. Open daily, 12:00–22:00. All 20 scents are on the tester shelf, and smelling them costs nothing. Prices run ₾12–230 — there is a way into the library at almost any budget.
